 Guanyin takes the rescue of those in hardships as a lifetime mission. Though second to Buddha in terms of deity status Guanyin has a far-reaching influence among the people. The Guanyin incense sculptures of Yixiangtang’s Buddhist worshiping series are created according to the images of ancient Chinese ladies whose appearances were of round faces in elegant postures, reflecting Guanyin’s merits of compassion and kindness, peace and tranquility. The sculptures convey all the auspicious blessings.
